It was a horribly miscast Ray Liotta as Shoeless Joe Jackson who, standing in a Dyersville corn field, asked the question "is this heaven?" ... and was told that, no, it was Iowa.
I would not go that far. But I did make it out to Iowa last weekend, as I have for too many November weekends to count over the decades, and I have always thought that the Hawkeye State is underrated, assuming it is rated.
