Article: Coolness 2 minutes at a time

The end of the year is usually a time for reflection on how 2002 went and what made it special. For me, it was the two minutes I felt cool several times within the past 12 months. Andy Warhol talked of 15 minutes of fame, but the 21st century doesn't have time for that, only two minutes at a time, spaced over a lifetime.

Your two minutes could be creating a masterpiece out of a stack of wood and a bucket of paint or watching your child take their first step. Or maybe they involve you putting 100 percent into something you could have gotten by giving 50 percent or taking a risk and controlling your future. Everyone has their own two minutes they cling to in any year, these are some of mine.
