Mary and Tony Simmons of Big Rock portray Mary and Joseph and 2-week-old Jelaina Auten is the infant Jesus in the Plano Christian Church's annual Living Christmas Tree presentation Sunday. Forty church choir members comprise the living tree.
PLANO -- The true spirit of Christmas gives life to the Living Christmas Tree at Plano Christian Church.
The 15th annual Living Christmas Tree production opened during the weekend at the church, at 9 Schomer Lane.
"We want people to walk away knowing the true meaning of Christmas," choir director Josh Motley said.
The ministry, with this year's theme of "2000 Decembers Ago," features choir members as ornaments in a riser-type Christmas tree.
