There are probably thousands of appetizers and munchies you can make with the stuff, and you don't have to suffer even one slight pang of guilt at not having made the pastry from scratch. No one makes puff pastry from scratch. (I once tried, and it took forever, and resulted in a product that was not nearly as good as the pastry sold in the freezer section of the supermarket.) Frozen puff pastry is relatively inexpensive, keeps forever and makes you look like you really know how to cook. What more could you ask for?
