JOLIET -- The popularity of such home decorating shows as "Trading Spaces" and "While You Were Out" has sparked a great interest in the field of interior design.
This trend is making home decor more accessible to the homeowner, and displaying the various outlets in which interior designers can make a career.
Although homeowners are becoming more confident to create living spaces designed to their individual tastes and needs, these television shows lack the ability to give people hands-on experience.
