OSWEGO -- It's a twist of fate that's almost incomprehensible, but, for Jim and Jeanne Jardine it's also a cold, cruel reality. Nine years ago, the Jardines' 20- year-old son, John, died when he lost control of his car and rolled it into a ditch alongside Wolf's Crossing Road in Oswego. Sunday, on the exact same stretch of road, another son, 22- year-old Matt Jardine, along with his 21-year-old friend, Phil White, died when Matt's pickup truck struck a utility pole and rolled over.

Police say the two accidents occurred no more than 50 feet apart.
