The NBA Finals are almost here. Is everyone happy? Back in the day when I was young, still overweight and still not as tall as I would have liked, I really was into the NBA. The league back then was FANtastic. Although today's players are better all-around -- quicker, faster and they can jump higher. But did I love watching the World Championship, as it was called back then. That era seems eons and light years ago. I guess as one gets older, the days have a tendency to go quicker.

Sitting in front of the TV and watching the Celtics and Lakers do legal warfare against one another was fun, reality television. Kareem vs. Robert Parish in the low post; Kevin McHale against James Worthy, DJ ...
