Article: Valpo firm helps produce world-record potato chips

At first, the people at Urschel Laboratories Inc. believed the phone call they received was a joke. The Ohio Department of Agriculture invited the Valparaiso company to participate in making the world's largest bag of potato chips to commemorate the 150-year anniversary of the potato chip.

"At first, we thought it was a prank," said Deb Novello, senior marketing analyst for Urschel.
