In northern Porter County, Jean Segal is known for the amount of energy that emanates from her diminutive frame. For her part, Jean doesn't find anything remarkable about her energy level.

"It hasn't run out so far" is about all she will say on the subject.

But she conserves her energy for things that are important to her, and doesn't squander it on such inanities as reinventing the wheels that spin through her busy life.
