Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana has broadened its scope to include weekend meals.
"This chilled-meal program has been in the works for almost two-years," said director Margot Clark. "It started with a grant from Lilly Endowment for a blast chiller."
Clark said a blast chiller chills food very quickly.
A survey was done on how the clients would like the weekend meals served.
