The Northwest Indiana Community Associates of the Art Institute invite the public to a special presentation, "The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston's Other Fine Arts Museum," by Dune Acres resident Nancy Flanagan.
The event is Friday, April 27 at the Valparaiso Memorial Opera House with an optional dinner before at Don Quijote restaurant in Valparaiso.
Isabella Stewart Gardner acquired an art collection, built a museum to house it and designed it like an elegant Venetian palazzo and ultimately endowed and deeded Fenwick Court -- The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum -- to the people of Boston and the world.
