Article: Vandals damage Morgan Township chemistry lab

It hasn't been summer vacation very long. But it seems some vandals were itching to back into chemistry class. Intruders, who broke in through a window at the rural Morgan Township School at 299 S. Indiana 49, smashed 17 containers with dry or liquid chemicals in the chemistry lab, High School Principal Curt Casbon said Wednesday.

"They apparently started a fire on the floor and put it out with an extinguisher," he said. "They didn't take anything and didn't mix any dangerous chemicals from what we could tell."
