Article: French Club knows how to party on Mardi Gras

You have to love Mardi Gras. The day's sole purpose is, in a nutshell, to gorge oneself on delicious treats. The catch is, for many people, the next day -- Ash Wednesday -- is the start of Lent, a season marked by fasting and self-denial leading up to Easter. But we won't focus on that part.

I don't know how the fasting will go, but I do know for Munster High School French students, the gorging was a success.

French Club threw its annual Mardi Gras party Tuesday. Mardi Gras, French for "Fat Tuesday," fell on March 4 this year. The date varies each year, depending on Easter's date.
