Pitching one perfect game is a rare accomplishment. Ashley Seibold did it twice -- in a row.
Seibold, a senior at Huntington North High School, retired 30 consecutive batters in a pair of five-inning softball victories last week.
"I really wasn't thinking about it," she said after her second perfect game, a 10-0 shutout of Fort Wayne Wayne. "I wasn't thinking about it the other night, either, because I didn't know. I thought about it a little, but I didn't let it get to me."
In the first game, also 10-0 against Jay County, she struck out 11 of the 15 batters she faced. Against Wayne, she struck out six and allowed just two balls ...
