MORRIS -- Whether to establish a park district in Morris will be decided by voters in the March primary. Many feel a parks and recreation district is overdue in the growing community. The services an organized district could offer would benefit residents of all ages, they say, with athletics, crafts, trips, play activities and workshops. "It would open up so many opportunities for all ages to participate in recreational and cultural activities," said Sheldon Sobol, Grundy County state's attorney and park district supporter.
