Dusty Baker has the Cubs off to a solid start as they arrive in San Francisco, but his former team hasn't missed a beat with a National League-best 18-6 record.
SAN FRANCISCO -- There is a good Dusty Baker and a thuggish Dusty Baker. At least that's what the Cubs manager said in evaluating his own temperament.
When Baker returns today to San Francisco, where he reveled last October while leading the Giants to the World Series and cried last November when he severed a long-festering relationship with Giants owner Peter Magowan, he expects the good Dusty to shine through.
