Article: EA SPORTS ROUNDBALL CLASSIC: West dominates East in preview of NBA future

CHICAGO -- The West was best but the crowd was better as the West team jumped ahead early and defeated the East 124-110 in the 40th annual EA Sports Roundball Classic on Wednesday at the United Center. Peoria Central's Shaun Livingston, who signed with Duke and finished with 12 points and seven assists, and UConn-bound A.J. Price of Amityville, N.Y., who set an event record with 15 assists and added eight points, were co-MVPs of the West.

"I felt like a kid in a candy store," Price said. "Anybody and everybody could finish. Dropping dimes was no problem. It got the crowd excited. It got the team going. And we were feeding off each other."
