I am a Bolingbrook resident who grew up playing softball on Bolingbrook Park District softball fields, and also enjoyed taking many classes at the Bolingbrook Park District Annerino Center when that was the only park district building. Today the park district manages 37 parks with even more scheduled to be created in order to meet the continuing residential growth that is expected to peak at about 90,000 residents by 2015.

I have always benefited from what the park district had to offer when I grew up here, but it wasn't until I moved to another community that I realized just how wonderful our park district is in Bolingbrook.
