Article: Groups deliver food baskets

Several organizations in the Antioch area are pulling together to distribute food baskets to the needy - their way of putting the holiday spirit to good use.

Heather Kufalk-Marotta, Antioch Township Assessor, said the township has been putting together food baskets for at least the last two decades.

"It's nice to see the looks on the faces of the families," said Kufalk-Marotta, who has been involved with the township's food basket drive for the past 18 years.

"Some people need a little extra help sometime, and it feels really good to be able to give it to them," she added.
