Repeated violations have landed 57 Indiana licensed nursing homes -- including 14 that already have closed -- on a watch list maintained by a leading national consumer group.
The assessment by the Center for Consumer Health Choices, which publishes Consumer Reports, was based on a review of nursing home inspection data nationwide from January 2002 through March 2003.
Nationwide, the center placed 1,717 nursing homes on its watch list.
