ANTIOCH -- Not many volunteer organizations can boast that they are anywhere close to giving away nearly $1 million, but that is the case of the Antioch Rotary Club that serves that village along with Lake Villa and Lindenhurst. Last Saturday the Rotary held its 29th annual auction and grilled pork chop dinner with a Caribbean Nights theme in Father Hanley Hall at St. Peter's Church.
