ANTIOCH -- Village officials tonight will propose a resolution condemning the name "Bad Ass Coffee," the name of a new coffee shop that Tony and Lisa Liotta of Lindenhurst plan to open in January at Antioch Crossing Shopping Center next to the new Wal-Mart Superstore on Route 173.
Liotta said he had no idea the name of his franchised shop, The Bad Ass Coffee Company of Hawaii, would cause such a backlash. "This cafe is a tongue-in-cheek salute to the hard-working donkeys that haul Hawaiian Kona Coffee out of the mountains of Hawaii," said Liotta, who plans to install a 500-gallon saltwater fish tank, exhibit the work of local artists, offer free wireless Internet access and a reading room ...
