* 16-20 shrimp (about a pound) with shell on, preferably deveined
* 3 bay leaves
* 12 peppercorns
* 1/2 cup kosher salt
* Old Bay Seasoning
* 6 tablespoons tomato paste
* 2 cups ketchup
* 3/4 cup prepared wasabi
* 3 oranges, zests chopped then juiced
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 3 tablespoons sugar
* 4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Grocery stores now sell deveined shrimp with shells on. Shrimp have great flavor when they are cooked in the shell.
