Your heart is racing, you're sweating, you can't concentrate, you're hyperventilating and you have a feeling of unreality. You just might be having an anxiety attack.
Anxiety disorders paralyze 23 million people in the United States. Only one third of them are seeking treatment.
Dr. Kalyani Gopal of Mid-America Psychological and Counseling Services at 8300 Broadway in Merrillville and her colleagues, Dr. Jaswinder Singh and Dr. Alan DeWolfe, try to help those suffering from anxiety disorders.
