As Blake Annen squatted on the floor in a leg-cramping crouch, waiting for the shoulder tap which would give him permission to rise, he learned something. "It only takes one person to ease the suffering of others," said Annen, who was released from his agony by a fellow participant in the Student Leadership Institute at Ball State University, a summer camp designed to increase the leadership skills of its participants.
