OUTDOORS - FISHING REPORT
Mild days with southerly winds have allowed some anglers to fish Lake Michigan and they have been catching limits of yellow perch, reported Debbie Evano of Lakeside Sports, 2109 Calumet Avenue, Hammond.
"The best spots for perch have been near the Inland Steel breakwall, outside the Hammond Marina and near the 95th Street canal," stated Evano. "I even had a couple of fishermen come in and say that they had caught perch after sunset while fishing off the shore near Calumet Park."
