Dear Anne and Nan - Where does that single sock of a pair go when it disappears in a load of laundry?
It doesn't go down the drain because that's impossible, and it isn't caught in other clothing because I always search, but never retrieve. I now put socks in a mesh bag and stick the bag in the washing machine and am not so plagued, but I still want to know where the missing ones went. I have a whole drawer of unmatched socks. -Roxie J.
