Chapter 13, "Funeral Processions," of the Indiana Code (IC 9-21-13-1) states that vehicles with lighted headlights in a funeral procession have the right-of-way at intersections. It says they "may proceed through the intersection if the procession is headed by a lead or escort vehicle displaying alternately flashing red and blue lights: with some exceptions regarding emergency vehicles and police-controlled traffic.
