Who-so-ever Will African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church was founded in the home of a member in the latter part of 1944 by the Rev. Elizabeth Lipscomb. Though there were few residents in the new subdivision, the small membership worked faithfully to secure and build a small house on the present plot at 2933 W. 25th Ave.
