PEOPLE
The Northwest Indiana Law Enforcement Training Council held its fourth annual Awards Night Banquet on March 28. Awards were presented to police volunteer instructors.
The NILETC, a continuing education police training center, is located at Indiana University Northwest and is composed of 48 law enforcement agencies that represent about 1300 law enforcement officers. Indiana law requires that each sworn full-time law enforcement officer receive a minimum of 16 hours yearly.
Those honored for instructing 24 or more hours in 1995 were:
