The Libertarian Party claims to be the most successful third party in the state, with 70 candidates on various ballots.
Still, electoral success has eluded the party standard bearer, gubernatorial candidate Stephen W. Dillon.
He is making his fifth run for office in the past 10 years. He has never won.
A 46-year-old Indianapolis attorney, Dillon's most successful race was his 1994 run for secretary of state.
