What began as concern for a member of her church has become a mission for Nan Steeves. She greets those coming to the food pantry with a friendly hello and lovingly fills their bags with canned goods, bread, margarine and meat.

For the last 14 years, Steeves has been at the helm of the Christian Food Pantry, in Valparaiso. "I really enjoy it. It makes me feel good."
