I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Keiko (pronounced "Cake- o") Kaska earlier this month. A native of Japan, she came to the United States as a student when she was 23. She now lives with her husband and young sons in Bloomington. She began her work career as a graphic artist, and her first books were published in Japan.
