James S. Jorgensen, of Schererville, is a member of First Baptist Church and vice president of Hyles-Anderson College.
For more than 100 years, the First Baptist Church of Hammond has stood as a landmark institution in our community.
For more than 30 years, the church has been guided by its present pastor, Jack Hyles. Under his leadership, the church has become one of the largest single congregations in the United States. Because of this, many other congregations across the United States have looked to First Baptist Church.
