Operators of the Evansville hotel that was heavily damaged when a military plane slammed into it have set up a scholarship fund for children of the 16 people who died, officials said Friday.
Drury Inns Inc. made a $25,000 contribution toward the fund. Jerry Black, manager of the Evansville Drury Inn, said his organization is encouraging other companies and individuals to contribute.
