Gary Medical Partnership, a group of 37 physicians on staff at St. Mary Medical Center of Gary joined with the hospital in upgrading and adding new technology and services.
This partnership has served as a catalyst toward the center's objective of making a difference in the Gary community.
The first product of this cooperative venture was the new cardiac catheterization lab, opened in June 1991.
