The Portage junior varsity cheerleading squad has won the Indiana Cheer Camp Award of Excellence. Members of the Indiana Cheer Camp staff select the top squads at the camp, based on their talent and performance throughout the camp week. The Portage junior varsity squad was the top scoring squad chosen by the ICC staff.

The Portage squad attended the camp in June.
