A woman mauled by pit bulls says she hasn't lost her love for dogs, but says ownership of dangerous canines should be restricted.
"I would look at the state laws on vicious dogs," said Caress Garten. ''I don't think our laws are as tough as other states. I think it's important that we have tougher laws."
Garten, 43, was walking through a public park on Nov. 5 when she was attacked by two dogs. The dogs' owner, Danny Oatts, fled but later surrendered to authorities.
