AIDS victim Ryan White has received a "Mickey" award from the Mickey Mouse Club, according to a club spokeswoman.
The 14-inch, gold-colored statuette, which is awarded to "children who make a difference" was recently mailed to the 18-year-old because he had been too ill to travel to receive it, his mother Jeanne White said.
Ryan had been scheduled to be on the Nov. 1, 1989, "Mickey Mouse Club Show" where he was to be inducted into the Mickey Mouse Club Hall of Fame, but because of poor health he was unable to attend.
