For decades, other Indiana colleges have made Ball State University the butt of jokes.
"Ball State?" It was always a question and the emphasis was always on the first word.
But before the next round of jokes, consider:
Ball State has the largest undergraduate enrollment in its School of Business of any university in the state.
Formerly Ball State Teachers College, the school continues to have a reputation as one of the nation's premier universities in graduating teachers.
It is the only state-supported university in Indiana with a college of architecture.
