The Prenatal Services of the Methodist Hospitals has received a $1,400 renewable grant from the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, Greater Chicago Area Chapter, to enhance a program already in place. The purpose of the educational program is to help reduce the incidence of low birth weight through patient motivation.

Dr. Charles Davidson, medical director, and obstetrician/gynecologists Dr. Edwin Moore and Dr. Deborah McCullough are available each week at the hospital's Obstetric Clinic. The clinic, which is located at the Northlake Campus in Gary, was established 18 years ...
