FESTIVAL FOCUS
The 13th annual Festival of the Dunes next weekend will have events both in the dunes and in Chesterton - the town known as the Gateway to the Dunes.
Some 200 artists and craftsmen will sell their wares in the blocked-off downtown until 5 p.m. both days while musicians entertain at the bandstand in Thomas Centennial Park.
On Saturday, Jerry Ward will perform from 9 a.m. to noon at the bandstand. From 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. a barbershop quartet will perform.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Jack Pratt and Friends, a six-piece jazz ensemble, will perform.
