Indiana University's unbeaten status was in a holding pattern Monday, but Coach Bill Mallory was not particularly happy about it. Nor was he fit to be tied. Tailback Vaughn Dunbar plunged 6 yards for what appeared to be the winning touchdown in the last two minutes of the Ohio State game, but it was nullified by a holding penalty.

Indiana, faced with a fourth-and-10 situation, settled for Scott Bonnell's 27-yard field goal with 1:09 left and a 27-27 tie.
