Drugs. Peer pressure. The two work hand in hand feeding on insecurities that are so common in the adolescent years. The period of time in a young person's life when fitting in with the crowd is all too important.
Unfortunately, role models are scarce for kids caught in this adolescent limbo somewhere between playing Barbie dolls and discovering the opposite sex.
