Hot lunch prices have been put on ice by the Griffith School Board. After approving year-apart increases in school lunch prices, the board decided this week to freeze hot lunch prices for two years.

As of Jan. 25, the start of the second semester, lunch prices go up 5 cents to $1 for elementary, $1.05 for junior-senior high; $1.75 for adults.

This lunch-price increase follows on the heels of the 5-cent increase approved a year ago.
