Northwest Indiana Food Bank Inc. board officials said they will hold an emergency meeting at 6 tonight here on ways to keep the financially strapped food bank open. The food bank, largest in the area for the needy, is in danger of closing because of about $55,000 in debts and because business contributions - the center's main source of income - are down, food bank workers said.
