It's rough being a teen-ager in the enlightened '80s. There are so many more problems teens have to handle. There's always school and parents. Then there's fitting in with one's peers. That's when the going really starts getting rough.
According to some 50 youths that belong to Pulaski Middle School's Teen Peer Pressure Volunteer Group, gangs and teen-age pregnancy are the top problems that worry teen-agers in Gary. Drugs and alcohol, AIDS and child abuse also made their list of concerns.
