Authorities were trying to determine the identity of a body found Sunday afternoon just east of Lake Street along the right of way for high-tension electrical lines south of the Indiana Toll Road in Lake Station. Lake Station Police Chief Richard Ausenbaugh said the dead man, who is black, appears to be in his early 20s, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 140 pounds, with brown eyes and medium length black curly hair.
