"He just slit his own throat on live television," The Minnow said Tuesday afternoon as we watched CNN in an oyster bar. "Either that or the gamblers got to him. He just threw the election."
The Minnow, who skipped his annual motorcycle odyssey to Sturgis, S.D., in order to observe clusters of Republicans behaving as dipsy as Democrats, was dumbfounded when George Bush announced his selection of Dan Quayle as his running mate in November's presidential election.
