Jean Yngve was an organic gardener before that gardening method became a fad.
"When organic gardening came along, we discovered we were organic gardeners from way back," said the 66-year-old Dune Acres resident who has been tending gardens off and on for the past 60 years.
Her latest garden is at Chellberg Farm, a part of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, which along with the Bailly Homestead is located on Mineral Springs Road, just north of U.S. 20.
